Hi Em and Michael, Thought I'd offer you an update. Happy to say I've got out of my toxic and unhelpful realtionship with my now ex. I am now happily living with my new partner with two Huskies (named Archie and Dexter) and soon to be hopefully my cat Nudge who is currently on holiday at my parents house. I am feeling quite good about myself all thanks to your advice. I continue to not give a fuck about what people say about me and just go and live my life. Changing last names when getting married
