Relentlessness of parenting as a neurodivergent mum
Hey Em, I am a first time mum to an adorable 4 month old, and I’m pretty certain (self diagnosed cause of the mental health system) that both husband and I are AU-ADHD’s. Hubby is literally a bloody legend and we share the load as much as humanely possible, but it still sucks hard rn. We are fully up the bloody river with no life raft regarding parenting, and my questions are; 1) How do/did you deal with the non-stop relentlessness of it all? 2) Are there systems to put in place you recommend? We both currently have *scream into a pillow time* scheduled into the diaries, where no one is touching us, and we can just scroll mindlessly. I do a little hot mum walk and listen to podcasts, which really helps my mental health, but really keen to hear other advice. 3) Does it get easier? Love, Crazy postpartum mum with the spicy sads
